It requires a drill but you simply drill the included 8 screws into the holes on your unit on your shelf, and you're done! I did not attach my TV (32" Insignia) to the product but it swivels and extends just fine without that step. I couldn't find anything that fit what I needed as well as this product, and the customer service was outstanding when I had a question. Definitely worth it if you're looking for a roll-out shelf for your TV. ...more

I only got one that the switch is apparently bad on so the batteries go dead quickly. The others have a long battery life and are so handy in the closets, under the sink, at the front door for when you were gone longer than you thought you would be so you didn't turn on the porch light.
