I took the advice of other reviewers and masked both sides of the caulking line before caulking and I must say that it is the best way to do it. Without masking it is a less perfect-looking caulk job as I tried it once without masking. But, as most commercials seem to be the most perfect of hundreds of video takes, Xpress Seal Pro isn't nearly the "miracle-cure" of the caulking world that the commercials seem to indicate. Cathy and I keep our clothes in a pair of tall dressers which double as our nightstands. The bedside lamps are at the ideal height for lighting up the bedroom and for in-bed reading. The downside: When Morpheus beckons you into the Land of Nod, you have to haul yourself halfway out of bed to turn off the lamp, breaking the spell. I attached one the on/off switches to each of our night stands and it's so nice not to have to fumble around trying to find the switch during the night or even during the day. I did change to a removable tape to install the switches to the night stands so there would be no damage.I also painted the switches to match the night stands and now you really can't see the switches unless you're looking for them.
