The only drawbacks that I have found so far is that there is only 1 hdmi connection and the remote is very basic. The only issue we've found is not being able to program our cable tv remote to this tv...not compatible. We have to use 2 remotes (one to change channels and one for on/off and volume). The picture is clear, and I've never had any poblems with the DVD player. The one problem I had, however, is with the remote. I was told that the remote codes would never be compatible with US codes for some reason, and I took that for granted. One day, out of curiosity, I googled Initial TV remote codes.
