To be fair it's the same situation with other similar internet camera products, but I would definitely not recommend that anyone new to networking take this on without expert help. The setup is complex, the manual is sketchy, and there are some bugs to overcome. I recommend them to all of my friends. It usually comes up when someone is moving. All of the picture, except one, are hung with these hooks. Even my bathroom towel basket. The heaviest picture I have hanging is only 30 pounds. As much as I love these hooks, I'm not convinced they will hold the 150 lbs claimed on TV ... but I love them for the smaller items I have hanging around the house and they make switching pictures around ...more

I have trouble keeping a computer with a conventional webcam alive when I'm not there, so this was a great solution since it plugs straight into the router and functions without a computer.
